A family-run company

A management transition has taken place from the second to the third generation of the family, in accordance with our vision to remain an independent family business. In October 2015, Philip Harting took over the executive chairman position from his father Dietmar, who is still a board member and focussed on the future and new technologies. Philip Harting now leads the Techology Group together with his mother Margrit, member of the board and partner, his sister Maresa Harting-Hertz, personally liable partner and board member of the Finance and Purchasing department, and other non-family managers.
HARTING in Southeast Asia
Founded in 1945, HARTING, being committed to maintaining close proximity to markets and customers, now has 44 sales and 14 production plants globally. HARTING Singapore was established in 1998.
Aside from Singapore being the Headquarter and warehouse, HARTING also has representative offices and business partners in other parts of South-East Asia such as Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. HARTING’s commitment in creating a presence in the South-East Asia commercial scene remains strong.
As established as it is, the customer oriented HARTING brand remains consistent and steadfast in South-East Asia, providing professional and customised solutions to our esteemed customers. HARTING draws on the group's strengths to develop customised solutions and products for energy and data transmission and networking, renewable energy, energy storage, data centre, mechanical engineering, rail technology, shipbuilding, factory automation, machinery and robotics.
HARTING Vietnam Factory
The South-East Asia market, recognisably Vietnam, is of utmost importance to HARTING. We are commencing our new factory for the rising demand from virtue of the rapid urbanization of South-East Asian nations and strengthen our customer proximity.

The new facility underlines our strong commitment to Asian customers with quality connectivity solutions, manufacturing in the areas of heavy duty, board, interface connectors, cable assembly & R&D capabilities.
Industrial connectors Han®
Rectangular industrial connectors were invented by Wilhelm Harting in 1956 as a direct response to circular MIL-SPEC connectors. Our Han® industrial connectors is quick and easy to handle, robust, flexible in use, a long life cycle and, ideally, a tool-free assembly.
D-Sub SMT
Optimized for reliable performance and long service life. It enables surface mounting, thus simplifying PCB assembly significantly and broadening its range of applications.
har-flexicon®
The har-flexicon® connector from HARTING is the miniature SMD connector for the quick connection of single conductors and provides a perfect connection between peripherals and PCB for industrial devices.
PushPull
With the PushPull plug connectors, HARTING provides easy-to-use housings which can be used for very different applications for the transmission of data, signals and power.
RJ45 cable assembly
Our cable assemblies offer optimised electrical and mechanical support, as all assemblies are extensively tested to guarantee reliable functioning in your application. HARTING ix Industrial® system cabling
The standardized mating face of the HARTING ix Industrial® (according to IEC 61076-3-124) provides users with planning certainty. It is available in two codings: type A for Ethernet data transmissions and type B for signal transmissions and serial BUS systems.
