Han-Eco^® is a modular connector that carries almost no weight. It forms an ideal solution, when it comes to the optimisation of an interface’s weight and price.

Transformer connections are exposed to environmental influences including mechanical impacts, water, oil, direct sunlight and ozone, all of which can negatively influence the lifetime of the connections. The new Han^® HPR HPTC series was specially developed for railway transformer applications. The Han^® HPR standard enables use in harsh environments. Shielding can be reached without shrinking and taping.

Standardisation, the reduction of energy consumption as well as easy handling to save installation time are major trends in the railway industry. The new Han^® HPR VarioShell was developed as a highly flexible housing system especially for inter-car jumpers. The new Han^® family member offers a huge amount of possibilities and benefits.

The new Han^® HPR Single Pole portfolio complements these housings perfectly. The poles transmit power up to 650 A/4 kV AC/DC through reliable Han^® HC Modular contacts. The result is high-performance connectors in HPR housings with IP68/69 protection.

HARTING's new Han^® HPR PYD 1 to 2 connector offers a scalable power interface (e. g. to the bogie). The distributor unites the contact multiplication in a standard connector and, thus, provides outstanding flexibility.

For use in demanding environments, HARTING's T1 Industrial^® interface is now also available in the familiar M12 format. The Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) technology achieves Industrial Ethernet transmission speeds of up to 10 GBit/s over only one twisted pair of wires. This saves space, resources and costs. Thinner cables and smaller connectors enable efficient Ethernet connections at the industrial field level. This makes the IIoT a reality and achieves TCP/IP communications all the way from the sensor to the cloud.
