39 ‘Young Professionals’ on their way into professional life
‘You are the future, you have the future, and it's up to you to make your future!’ With these words, Maresa Harting-Hertz, Deputy Chairwoman of the Executive Board, bid farewell to the former trainees and dual students as they embark on their careers. They have all successfully completed their training programmes.
In front of family members and managers of the HARTING Technology Group, she encouraged the young professionals to take their next career steps with courage, creativity and perseverance: ‘The world out there and here at HARTING is waiting for you, it needs your ideas, your energy and your fresh perspective.’
Doris Höpfl, Chief Human Resources and Legal Officer at HARTING, adds: ‘Your commitment, perseverance and determination have paid off. You have not only acquired professional skills, but also learnt to work in a team, solve problems and take responsibility.’
Daniel Teichrib in particular received a great honour: the now qualified machine and plant operator has been immortalised with his name on the HARTING ‘Wall of Fame’ - a plaque reserved only for the most outstanding trainees in the Technology Group. To be included there, all parts of the examination must be completed with a grade of ‘very good’.
Marco Häring, Director Human Resources at HARTING, particularly emphasised the great achievements that were made despite the challenges of digitalisation and changing working environments: ‘The pandemic turned the usual training process upside down. But our junior staff have managed to build bridges - between the analogue and digital worlds, physical distance and human proximity,’ praised Häring. ‘They grew with their tasks, which required flexibility, improvisation and creativity in particular.’
