Individual production plants for our customers
Recently, we successfully completed projects with renowned companies such as Sennheiser, BERNSTEIN and GROHE. Our teams have always had a clear focus on the needs of our customers, working as equal partners to meet their requirements.
Grohedal
GROHEDAL's plug valve is automatically assembled in the HARTING facility. This valve regulates the water flow in the toilet. This production plant consists of individual modular assembly cells. These provide a high degree of versatility and enable certain individual operations to be connected in between or even downstream.
With this consistently modular design, GROHEDAL Sanitärsysteme has been able to reduce manufacturing costs. A further benefit is that the spare parts inventory is minimised. Accordingly, we offer high parts availability and can also respond to customer requirements at short notice.
Bernstein
The production plant automatically assembles the new BERNSTEIN C14 generation of switches in a wide range of variants. The assembly facility consists of individual modular cells that are very versatile. They enable certain processes to be connected in between or even downstream of other processes. For BERNSTEIN, this increases product and process quality so that the machines are utilised even more efficiently. In this project, we combined all our expertise: on the one hand, the assembly of filigree, high-precision components for electrical engineering and, on the other hand, automated cleaning of the components. We also implemented our Industry 4.0 solutions in this project.
Sennheiser
The components that are overmoulded in both plants are inspected automatically. A robot handles the individual components and the finished parts. The completed magnet units and so-called chassis are later assembled into a converter and this is used in the Sennheiser earphones. Our toolmaking and special purpose machine manufacture departments were able to play to their strengths here in this project.
