Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Using a systems engineering methodology, we support collaborative concept development at an early stage with a systematic requirements analysis. We not only take a detailed look at the customer's product, but also identify all requirements and general conditions (e.g. from the production environment). This gives us a holistic understanding of the actual task at an early stage, so we can more effectively accommodate the customer's wishes when designing the solution.
The development methodology also encompasses the technical implementation. The focus is not only on the requirements and the technical solutions, but also on the functional description of the manufacturing processes, which are implemented by the selected solutions. Thus, all those involved in development also understand the desired behaviour of the systems during operation in addition to the static machine structure.
Transparency and information traceability during the development process
The requirements are documented and managed in a structured way. They are directly linked to the associated solution of the concept as part of a model-based specification. Thus, we have a logical sequence of related information. This permits us to better trace back decisions and changes.
By linking requirements to the relevant solution, a simple systematic validation of the requirements is possible at an early stage in the product life cycle. The requirements can already be systematically checked during the technical development phase, so that excellent quality can be guaranteed.
