HARTING Technology Group distinguished as "Company of the Year 2022"
HARTING is the "Company of the Year 2022". The magazine "FOCUS MONEY", together with DEUTSCHLAND TEST and the Institute for Management and Economic Research (IMWF), awarded this distinction to the Espelkamp-based technology company in the "Electronic Components" category. HARTING achieved the maximum score and was clearly head and shoulders above other companies. Likewise, the Technology Group is positioned among the absolute top group of German SMEs. According to the latest analysis by the "DDW Die Deutsche Wirtschaft" information network, the family business ranks third among the 10,000 most important German medium-sized companies. The current ranking covers German-owned companies posting annual sales of up to one billion euros.
The survey conducted by FOCUS MONEY and DEUTSCHLAND TEST shows which companies have put in the best start to the new year. The publishers of the meta-study had already awarded the "Innovation Prize" to HARTING in 2021. Among other things, the current "Company of the Year" award assessed the price-performance ratio, customer trust (recommendation, reliability), service quality as well as sustainability in economic, ecological and social terms. HARTING convinced the jury in every dimension and took the highest marks in each case. Consequently, the sector winner set the benchmark for all other companies examined within the industry. The survey put around 21,000 companies to the test.
Proceeding from a neutral data basis, the analysis by "DDW Die Deutsche Wirtschaft" on the importance and evaluation of the companies was based on 28 factors with different weightings. These included turnover and employee figures, the respective strength of patent activities, expenditure on research and development, employer offerings, industry
cooperation activities, certifications, investment activities, offers of dual courses of study, university partnerships, sustainability aspects, online visibility and the age of the company. HARTING, founded in Minden in 1945, also features as one of the eight world market leaders based in the towns and communities of the Minden-Lübbecke district.
Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group was delighted to receive the awards: "This makes us proud and is at the same time an obligation to further consolidate these top positions and always convince our customers with quality."
